New Season

The last week in July began the sixth grade football season.  A week of tryouts, then a few weeks of practice before the Jamboree where all Lehi teams play.  Jack is playing quarterback and linebacker this season.  Quarterback is a new position, and so far so good. 

There are a few kids we know on the team from last year and from school.  Game one was August 27th. It was a blistering hot day and none of the fields have any shade.  We are ready to purchase a giant canopy for the kids to sit under. 

The opponent was American Fork.  They were up 13-0 in the first quarter.  Then the tides began to turn.  The Pioneers scored and recovered an on side kick.  By half time the boys knew they were in the game.  Jack sacked the AF quarterback, always fun to see.  The final score was 20-13.

Fantasy Football

I had a good draft.I got some of the players I wanted and some players that I wanted I didn't get. I drafted Steven Jackson, Peyton Manning, and Chad Ocho cinco and more. I am excited for football season and I hope that the Colts do well.
